Hi! I'm Dorothy!

I'm a librarian and an English major, with a love of reading (big surprise!). This blog gives me chance to share my love of reading, particularly for stories that represent strong and unconventional women, as well as racialized persons.

You don’t know you’re not represented until you are. It is my hope that people of all ages continue to see themselves in the literature they read, as more and more authors that would have traditionally been on the fringes gain popularity and acknowledgement.

I love reading in both paper and digital formats, though lately the Kobo is winning.

I’m proud to say I’m in my romance novel era. As a librarian, I believe in access to information and stories. Let’s read it all, no stigma here!
